Dear Families

My name is Jennifer Cholock and I am the Principal of Harry R. Hamilton Elementary. As a school community, we would like to extend a warm welcome to the students and families of Millwood Elementary and Sackville Heights Elementary. We are excited to have you and your children join our school family this September.

My Vice Principal, Kara MacGillivrary and I have been collaborating with HRCE Pre-Primary staff and administration from Millwood and Sackville Heights and we are working together to plan a successful start-up for our Pre-Primary students. In the next week, we will begin creating our class lists. Children from Harry R. Hamilton, Millwood and Sackville Heights, will have an opportunity to build new friendships, as all classes will have students from each community. 

We are currently reviewing the feedback you provided through ThoughtExchange to ensure our plans for transition reflect the needs of our community. HRCE has created a FAQ page, which may answer some of the questions you have. Over the next couple of weeks, transportation will update their webpage- be sure to check it out.
