To help send a strong message against bullying in Nova Scotia's schools, the province of Nova Scotia has proclaimed the second Thursday at the start of each school year as Stand Up Against Bullying Day.  This year the date is Thursday, September 13th!

On this day we encourage Millwood Elementary School to set a positive tone for the school year by engaging students in activities that focus on the importance of building healthy relationships with and among each other.
