First Day of School Procedures: Morning Arrival


PP-2 students will meet their classroom teacher in a designated area outside on the pavement.  When teachers reach out to their students’ families on Friday September 4th they will share more detail about this meeting spot.


Grades 3-5 students are asked to enter the school/portable upon arrival and go directly to their classroom. Teachers will be in their classrooms to greet students. When teachers reach out to their students’ families on Friday September 4th they will share more detail about their cohort door and classroom location.

Specialist and other support staff will be located at entryways, hallways and the playground to assist those students who are new to the building or are unsure of their room location.

Under the Back to School plan, schools will be limiting outside visitors in the building, including parents/guardians. This means you will not be able to enter the school to drop off or pick-up your child.
